You can expect me to be really accessible, even during weird times, and to regularly go above and beyond to help your organization. I'll share my expertise and time with you as generously as possible in pursuit of your mission's fulfillment. You can also expect flexibility, personal investment in your organization's success, and a sense of humor. (No one likes that stilted corporate tone!)

A big part of the reason I prefer to work with smaller nonprofits and small businesses is that they lack the bandwidth and/or personnel necessary for a "traditional" organization-contractor relationship. And that is fine! Those organizations need flexibility, accessibility, and help with things - like creating social media graphics - that would immediately and steeply drive up costs with the average freelancer.

My approach is to charge one flat per-platform per-month fee that includes captions, graphics, phone calls if we need to discuss something, and campaign plans (e.g., for Giving Tuesday). Atlanta is full of little nonprofits and big-dreaming small business owners that have spectacularly worthy missions and services but no or very little marketing budget. Playing field = leveled(ish).
